Harder content, stronger gear. New world drops take their power from the difficulty that
earned them: a blue piece starts at item level 17 on Normal, rises one level per Heroic step
to 22 on Mythic, and reaches 24 at Keystone 1 plus 1.2 for every Keystone level after that.
Slot upgrades still multiply it, up to rank 5.
See where a piece came from. Tooltips and the Armory show each new piece's source, base
item level and slot rank. Upgrades show the item level and capped stat gains they actually buy.
Your favourite rolls are safe. Different rolls of the same item are kept as separate
pieces, so a stronger copy never silently replaces a suffix, spell line or proc you rely on.
Only an exact duplicate roll salvages. Choose the copy to wear in Gear.
The Keystone Vendor follows your wins. Everyone can browse it; buying needs a completed
Keystone 1, and each purchase rolls at the highest Keystone you have actually won. Earlier
characters are credited from their recorded Keystone victories.
Gear you already own keeps its exact stats. Stat caps are unchanged, so compare the actual
effect: a higher item level is not automatically better for every build.
On short screens the "Change hero" link no longer catches clicks meant for the Keystone Vendor
button beneath it while the hero card scrolls.
