Questions and answers
Clear answers about the game, your progress and the current playtest.
What is Warforge Veterans?
Warforge Veterans is a free fan-made survival roguelite set in Warcraft locations. You move, dodge and choose upgrades while spells attack automatically. Play solo, with companions or in a party of up to four players.
Is it the same game as Azeroth Survivors?
It is a separate project built on the Azeroth Survivors and benilla / wenilla lineage. Warforge Veterans adds hosted co-op, account-owned heroes and its own progression and game systems.
Does it cost anything to play?
The game is free to play. Create an account to keep your heroes and eligible progression, or use guest practice to try it.
What do I need to play?
For the browser version, use a desktop browser with WebGPU and hardware acceleration. There is also a Windows client. Game files stream as needed, so the first load takes longer than returning visits.
Can I play alone?
Yes. You can play solo, add companion bots or invite friends. Solo runs, including a solo human with companions, pause for reward choices. A party with multiple human players keeps fighting.
What carries over between runs?
Saved characters keep permanent equipment, trained talents and earned materials. Account unlocks include zone access, relics and modifiers. Run levels, spell choices, run gold and temporary cache jewelry reset. Guest and offline practice do not award permanent progress.
Is this an official Blizzard game?
No. Warforge Veterans is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft and its game assets belong to Blizzard Entertainment.
How do I report a problem?
Open the game menu or results screen and select Send Feedback. The game attaches relevant run details and confirms when the report is saved.
